Air Bed

Air beds are specially designed air–filled floating mattress beds designed to prevent development and/or alleviate and facilitate healing of bed sores and certain physical problems associated with long term restriction to bed, especially in a paralyzed and/or coma state.

What do you need to consider when buying an air bed?

  • Stay Basic With the Air Bladder

  • The internal construction of air mattress itself, is often considered as the critical component of the bed.
Indeed, it is the heart of an airbed mattress, and the construction of the bladder, and how it inflates and deflates, is important.Simpler is better. The fact of the matter is, cloth backed urethane is expensive, most likely deteriorates faster than more inert materials like PVC (poly vinyl chloride).
  • Foam - Get the Best You Can, and Make Sure the Memory Foam is Near the Top.
  • Pump - Quality rather than Hype

  • Beware the so-called "silent" pump, because it comes with lots of tradeoffs.
  • Look for Sturdy Side Rails

  • Stay away from airbeds that have their chambers all the way to the edge, or have a foam rail that is somewhat thin and not typically very sturdy.
  • Look Closely at the Return Policy

  • one of the most important points in deciding where to buy an air bed it to make sure that the retailer you are considering offers a good and fair return policy. Since return policies can vary dramatically, you need to compare different retailers trial period as well as the amount of money you will end up paying for a return.
  • A good warranty is essential
